‘Will You Marry Me?’ by Kaza-Kaizen

Here’s a story about Adi and I. This is his 8th proposal. 

Yes, 8th.

His first time was our 1st year dating. I told him yes but we have to wait for another 3 years. 

The 2nd time was our 4th year dating, right before he had the car accident.

3rd was the same year, after he had a car accident and recovered from his 5-months coma. 

4th time was about a few months after his coma and that’s when he officially proposed to me. Bought me a $3 ring and slid it in my ring finger. 

I completely forgotten the 5th and 6th time.

7th when he officially bought my engagement ring.

And now he’s proposing to me again for the 8th time. XD

All the while, I never said ‘No.’ :)

Off to have my wedding dress try out. :)

Adi and I had a Nikah course this month. One class per week and we had four classes. I had mine in Masjid Jame’ Asr. The mosque is beautiful! It’s too bad I’m not allowed to take photos. Despite its beautiful design, it was extremely cold there too! I had to wear my thick jacket each time I went there. And socks ‘cos my feet were frozen! I can’t stand the cold!

The course seems repetitive in my opinion. It’s all about what the wife will do in a marriage in a perspective of a Muslim woman, etc etc. And for 4 weeks, they talk just about that. I’m gonna make sure I’ll read the book we had to buy for further understanding.

Now, Adi and I are busy getting things ready. He’s still listing out guests for his side of the reception, while I’m still busy hunting Nikah dresses and his ambil-ambilan. Hopefully I’ll get something that is useful to him. Amin.

Well, I’m off to do wedding things~

Now I’m having second thoughts about my Nikah dress. Perhaps I should survey some more tomorrow..

Adi’s parents are downstairs and having a discussion with my parents right now while I’m upstairs in my room (I was told to do so). Yanie (my sister-in-law) just got into my room to show me my ‘pembuka mulut’ and ring. It’s so pretty! I haven’t worn it yet and I can’t wait, somehow. XD

Adi and I aren’t suppose to see each other tonight. So I’m stuck in my room while he’s going out. We’ll see each other tomorrow to go for a wedding showcase at Empire Hotel.

I’m pretty nervous right now and I’m just…. excited!

Tomorrow’s a big day for me. I’m just so excited and kind of nervous at the same time. XD
